After joining RKP in 2003 as a member of the Street Team, Sachin Kamboj has moved his way up to president. As president, Sachin covers every aspect of the job. This includes managing the website, organization and management of RKP events, maintaining alliances with the college organizations, as well as flyering alongside the Street Team. Sachin is currently pursuing his Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Cal Poly Pomona and hopes to attend Law School after graduating. He is a member of Cal Poly Pomona's Indian Student Assocation and Bhangra Team. In his free time, Sachin enjoys watching sports and movies, dancing, and kicking back with his friends.

Sunny Jain - Online Advertising Sales

Mr. Jain is currently Vice President for for RKPromotions and is responsible for managing strategic relationships with partners such as Blazin Beats, Don Raja Entertainment, and Ziba Music. Furthermore, he is also an integral part of the financial management team and is responsible for approving all budget for events. Over the past 5 years, Sunny Jain has integrated himself as a key player in the South Asian Community and has already MC/Dj'd and/or organized major events such as CSUN Culture Show/Bhangra Competition, UCLA Bruin Bhangra Competition, Pre-Reception Dinners, and Afterparties, as well as various large private and collegiate events. Sunny is currently the public relations officer (PR) for CSUN's South Asia Club as well as part of Tahj Entertainment, "Cali's Premier Entertainment DJ Company." His highly acclaimed remixes have also been featured on the Bruin Bhangra CD for 4 years straight and he has grown to be one of LA's Hottest DJs.

Amit Jain - Finance Manager

Amit Jain joined RKP in the summer of 2005 and is responsible for managing the finances of RKP as well as promoting its events to his peers. As an associate, Amit will ensure that RKP continues to grow 100% on yearly basis as well as maintain profitiability. In addition to RKP, Amit is currently an undergrad at Moorpark Community College majoring in Business Administration and plans to go to USC next fall as a transfer student. Furthermore, Amit is also a partner and co-founder of Tahj Entertainment and is better known as DJ Reaction. He has DJ'd at various events including Bruin Bhangra Afterparty 2004 and at venues such as Level 3 and Key club.

Sumit Mahendru - Promotions Manager

Sumit Mahendru joined RKP in the summer of 2005 and is responsible for managing the promotions of RKP as well as managing the RKP website. Sumit will ensure that RKP continues to grow on a yearly basis as well as maintain profitability. In addition to RKP, Sumit has graduated from Musicians Institute in Hollywood with a certificate in Recording, and works for Ascent Media in the Hollywood Edge division. Furthermore, Sumit is also a partner and co-founder of Tahj Entertainment and is better known as DJ AbstraKt. He has DJ'd at various events including Bruin Bhangra After party 2004, and Detention, and at venues all throughout Los Angeles including: Avalon, Spider Club, Level 3, Cinespace, Hollis, Nacional, Vanguard, The Penthouse, Club 49, The Madison, Privilege, Lobby, etc. Sumit has also DJ'd in London and India. In his free time, he produces and writes music.

Asees Singh - Associate

Asees joined the RKP team in May of 2007, mainly working the online circuits, she acts as a liaison between various online media outlets directed towards the South Asian community such as Desiclub.com, Desihits.com etc... and RKP. She is currently working towards a degree in Business Administration and Psychology at UC Riverside. She has played an active role in the Asian Indian Student Association as well as Sikh Student Association there. She recently completed a publicity internship with New Line Cinema Home Entertainment and an internship at PMK/HBH, a well known entertainment PR firm. She hopes to pursue a career in Entertainment or Corporate Public Relations. In her free time she enjoys dancing, dancing and more dancing.

Alysha Shroff - Associate

Currently, Alysha is a freshman dance major at UC Irvine. She is now a representative for RKP at her college. She recently moved to southern California from Seattle to pursue a career in dance. She is on track to add a second major in either business management or psychology. She enjoys expanding her knowledge about the different forms of dance and is continuously involved in some type of dance team or organization often acting as captain or choreographer. She has traveled around the country for dance competitions, classes and workshops. This year, Alysha branched out by becoming a member of UC Irvine's nationally recognized hindi film dance team. She is currently working to become immersed into the L.A. dance scene.

Darshan Shah - Associate

Darshan Shah is one of the newest additions to RKP. He is responsible to aid in all RKP promotions at UC Irvine, as well as helping the company grow. He is currently a senior at UC Irvine majoring in Biological Sciences with a minor in Business Management. Darshan plans to attend medical school after he is done with his undergraduate career. Although a serious student, Darshan is very social and loves to party. Darshan has been a member of many dance teams including UC Irvine’s hindi film dance team. There is one place Darshan is always willing to go eat for fine dining, “Taco Bell”.

Pratik Purohit - Associate

Pratik Purohit joined the RKP team in April 2007. He manages the ticketing and cashbox at events, and assists in online promotions through various social networking websites such as facebook. In addition to RKP, Pratik attends CSUN majoring in Business Management, where he is actively involved with CSUN SAC & Bhangra competition. Pratik is currently pursuing a career in the hospitality industry, specifically motels.

Shawn Kalsi - Associate

Shawn Kalsi joined RKP in the summer of 2006. He is responsible for managing promotions in the Orange County area and the creative design of RKP events. Shawn strives to make every event unique in its own and present novelty that separates RKP from the rest. In addition to RKP, Shawn is studying International Studies and Film at UC Irvine. As a student, he has been active in the film industry through multiple internships at Sony Pictures Entertainment. Furthermore, Shawn has a strong passion for music production and plays several instruments including the dhol and tabla. He has performed alongside such renowned artists as RDB, Sukhbir, Indy Sagu, Manak E, Junoon, and Mitch Hayer.

Chris Juneja - Associate

Chris Juneja is a second year psychobiology major at UCLA and became a member of the RKP team in summer 2007. His duties with RKP include promotional and representation advents at UCLA, as well as Skylights for events, videos, and various other duties dealing with creative marketing strategies and theming. In addition to his pre-pharmaceutical aspirations along with his academic pursuits at UCLA, Chris Juneja is the Captain of the UCLA Bhangra Team and an active member of the Bruin Bhangra committee. Over the last two years, he has worked hard to make Bruin Bhangra a successful competition by fulfilling his own duties as well as overseeing the work of others on the committee.
